Building Community

Students who participate in community are more involved, grow stronger friendships, are more successful in their transition to college, have higher GPAs, and graduate sooner that the national average. Residents are encouraged to build their own communities with those who live around them and have the same interests. Residence Life strives to help residents build these communities through educational programs and fun events.

Get Involved

Whether it is getting involved in Residence Life through our Residence Housing Association (RHA), our Special Events Committee, or by working as student staff (Resident Assistants, Student Assistants), or by making connections on campus through multiple avenues such as Academic Clubs, Greek Life, Faith-based Organizations, or Intramural Sports, CSU has something for you! We're Here to Help

Each housing area is staffed by:

  • a full-time professional Residence Life Coordinator
  • a team of paraprofessional Resident Assistants/Graduate Assistants
  • a faculty member, called a Faculty-in-Residence

These live-in staff members are a great resource, leading you to all the benefits of living at CSU – from learning about campus clubs and organizations, to finding campus resources – they are eager to help.
