Residence Life

Student Assistants

Under the direction of Residence Life professional staff, the student assistants help with administrative and customer service related tasks in Residence Life Office.

Qualifications

  • A GPA of 2.5 or above

  • An honest desire to be of service to your fellow students and to support Residence Life policies

  • Willingness to operate as a "Team" member

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in answering the phones and providing exceptional customer service for the Residence Life Office

  • Know and implement all Residence Life policies and procedures

  • Utilize Residence Life computer programs

  • Assist with resident needs, such as lockouts, lost/stolen items, questions, etc.

  • Assist with office related duties including taking payments and utilizing office equipment

  • Assist in giving tours to prospective students and families

  • Assist with the check-in/check-out process

  • Assist with recording, filing away, and distributing mail (RiverPark)

  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation

  • Paid hourly
