Maryland Circle Student Housing, located on Maryland Circle, is for upperclassmen only. Maryland Circle consists of multiple traditional style homes and townhouses. Each house is laid out a little differently, but all offer spacious bedrooms with full sized beds. Maryland Circle offers a more independent living experience.
Beginning Fall 2019, Maryland Circle will become a self-sufficient community. While still a part of Residence Life, living in Maryland Circle will assist students with life skills necessary for off-campus (post-graduation) living. Students will be taught how to be more self-sufficient in their living experiences in order to gain the skills necessary to live in communities post-graduation. Direct staff interactions in this community will not be as prevalent, unless requested by the students to assist in resolving concerns. Students will be able to stay in the community during the summer as well, if they choose.
Students will be selected for this community based on the following criteria:
- Academic Classification with preference to Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students
- Overall GPA above 2.7
- Good Judicial Standing
- Must be over 21 years of age during the 2019-2020 academic year
